How do you seat twenty people in a sukkah without turning dinner into human Tetris?

We can technically fit twenty, but serving and moving around becomes difficult. What setup choices make a large sukkah meal safer and more comfortable?

Make one clear aisle from the house to the farthest seat and keep it free of bags, serving tables and high-chair legs. The goal is not maximum chairs; it is a room people can safely use.

Seat children near the adults responsible for them and put anyone who may need to leave easily near the opening. A place card can solve traffic problems before the meal starts.

Plate the first course inside and use two small water pitchers instead of one heavy one. Refill from the kitchen rather than storing every bottle on the table.

Watch the forecast and secure décor, lighting and heaters according to manufacturer and local safety guidance. Have an indoor fallback before guests arrive.
